It’s A Child’s World ensures that day home providers undergo continual professional development. Providers are kept up-to-date with changes and advancements in all areas of childcare. This ensures they have opportunities to expand their skills beyond basic provincial government standards. Providers are better equipped to deal with family, child, and other social issues. Our providers feel that they belong to a professional childcare network and are part of a team by working with our agency.

We offer training to our provider’s through “The Family Child Care Training Manual”. By completing this training day home providers can obtain their Level 1 in Early Childhood Development.
