Monitoring
Our day home visitors provide monthly monitoring to support and work with providers. Day home visitor responsibilities include the following:
- Inspect for safety, health, nutrition and daily programming
- Observe children and their interaction with providers
- Offer support and guidance for providers
- Strict adherence to standards, and providing a firm stance against non-compliance
- Assist parents with child registration and subsidy application
- Assist in preparing monthly newsletter
- Plan and prepare bi-monthly workshops
- Act as a liaison for parents to offer support and solve problems such as initial day home selection
- Formal complaint investigations
- Recruit and train new providers in all aspects of day home childcare
- Provide training for new children's programmin
