Agency Coordinator
A member of the Alberta Family Childcare Association, our coordinator is a contract manager who oversees day home visitors, and acts as an information resource for questions or concerns from parents or providers.
Day Home Providers
Our energetic day home providers enjoy ongoing workshops which address current child/family issues. Childcare providers also benefit from program resources for fresh learning experiences and engaging activities for all age groups.
Day Home Visitors
Day home visitors provide support, advice, and resources for providers. Our day home visitors must meet these requirements:
- Early Childhood Development training
– Level 1-3
- first aid certificate
- police security clearance
- child intervention check
- be pleasant and personable when interacting with parents and providers
- be knowledgeable in provider competencies and day home environment
- good planning and problem solving skills

New Home Co-ordinator
Assists new providers in all areas of family day home policies and procedures.
Assists new providers in initial home set up, home safety, daily programming and planning.
Assists and trains new providers in professional interviewing skills with potential parents.
Ensures that new providers are confident in their position as a family day home provider. |
